Wanda Alice Blakeman, 55, passed away October 1, 2021 at Crook County Hospital in Sundance, Wyoming. She was born November 22, 1965 in Rapid City, South Dakota, to Ted and Clara (Morganflash) Blakeman. She was living in Sundance at the time of her passing. Wanda enjoyed spending time with family and friends, especially with her grandkids. She was an avid fisherman, often catching more fish than anyone she was with. William "Bill" H. Sherrard, 73 of Sundance, Wyoming, passed away quietly at his home the morning of October 4, 2021. Bill was born in Deadwood, South Dakota, and graduated from Sundance High School. He proudly served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War and was stationed in Izmir, Turkey for two years. He attended the University of Wyoming. The rate of COVID-19 tests coming back with a positive result is slowly dropping in Crook County, which is good news for Crook County Memorial Hospital.
