    It’s hard to play pickleball without a net, but will it be safe from thieves if it’s left up at the court? Sundance’s pickleball club has been keeping the net locked up to protect it, said Clerk-Treasurer Theresa Curren last week, but this has caused a problem because the city has received requests from members of the public who would like to make use of it.     Team 307 returned undefeated from the Colorado Live Showcase in Denver, a summer basketball tournament in front of dozens of college coaches. The team formed this year under coach and organizer Thomas Bush, with the aim of increasing basketball play opportunities for local kids over the summer months and helping them work towards their personal goals, as well as towards college sports.     It was a beautiful weekend for the Sundance track team as they participated in the 2A Regional Track meet on Friday and Saturday at Croell Field. The top eight finishers in each event and top four in the relays earned their way to the state track meet, which will take place on Thursday and Friday of this week.     With snowflakes in the air, the Sundance track and field team hosted their Sundance Invite last Friday, bringing the regular season to a close.     The Sundance track and field team had a busy schedule last week, participating in three meets. Tuesday, the Bulldogs traveled to Douglas for a makeup meet from last week. It was here that Parker Skeens and Riley Banker both took first place finishes, qualifying them for state.
