    Artists from Sundance High School made their mark at the 56th annual Wyoming High School State Art Symposium last weekend, showing off their work at the largest statewide art exhibition in the nation. Over 4700 pieces were on display in Casper, from 67 schools across Wyoming.     The Heart of Gold Livestock Show was the event of the day with more than 90 kids participating from Crook County School District. Students interacted with cows, sheep, swine, goats, horses, dogs, a chicken and a rabbit with the help of our 4-H and FFA partners.     Lauren Lacey of Sundance, Wyoming, was recently initiated into The Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi, the nation’s oldest and most selective all-discipline collegiate honor society.     Strata Energy, Inc. has issued its annual invitation to Crook County high school graduates to apply for Strata’s Community Energy and Opportunity scholarships. Strata scholarships are available to students graduating from a Crook County high school or Crook County accredited home-school program.     Crook County Farm Bureau Federation is offering two scholarships available to Crook County residents who have a Crook County Farm Bureau Federation membership.     Once again, the students of Crook County have outdone the state average with a graduation rate for the 2022-2023 school year of 89%.
