Thanks to a seasonal project from Dirt Road Radio (KYDT-KBFS), this year they can look forward to getting mail straight from the North Pole. “Any child of eight years and younger will be able to write letters to Santa.     Ongoing problems with the electronic medical records system have led to a situation where Crook County Medical Services District is experiencing serious issues with cash flow. Though she expects the business office to catch up with the billing in the near future, CEO Micki Lyons requested a transfer of $500,000 from the board of trustees’ account last week to cover payroll and other costs until the issue is resolved. Margaret was born February 23, 1923, at home on Houston Creek in Crook County, Wyoming, to James and Amalia (Reinhold) Bowers. She attended Houston Creek country school and later graduated from Sundance High School. Margaret then attended Spearfish Teachers College. She passed at the Legacy Living Center in Gillette, Wyoming, where she has resided for the past few years. Lila June was born on April 23, 1929, at the family residence in Albion, Nebraska.
