Track season gets underway

Track season is underway for the Sundance Bulldogs. The team was able to catch an early meet last week as they participated in the Laura Chord Invitational in Newcastle on Thursday.

Being one of the first meets of the season, there were a total of 15 teams participating. Despite the large number of participants, the Bulldogs were able to see success in multiple events.

Senior Keaton Mills came out of the Invitational a two-event winner, taking top honors in the discus, throwing 135-09, and the high jump, going 6-0. Teammates Jake Schommer and Catch Downey also placed third and seventh, respectively, in the high jump.

The Bulldogs are hoping the weather is nice next week so they can participate in another meet on Friday, March 29, in Buffalo.
