Wrestling season off to great start

The Bulldog wrestlers opened their season at the Lusk Invitational this past weekend. Four Bulldog grapplers placed in the top five throughout the competition.

Lyman Halverson and Shyla Shoun finished in third place. Halverson won with a 9-2 decision in the 120 weight class and Shoun took her victory with a fall over Hallie Fuller from Lingle-Fort Laramie in the 140 weight class.

Competing in the 132 weight class, Karter Mayberry finished in fourth place. Rounding out the top five finishers for the Bulldogs was Lily Lindholm who took fifth place in the 125 weight class.

The Bulldog wrestlers will be back on the mats on Saturday as they compete in the Wright Duals.
