Peterson State Golf champ

It was an exciting weekend for the Bulldog golfers as Savanah Peterson won the 2A State Golf Championship with a first hole playoff against Upton's Ciarra Moore. Peterson and Moore were tied after two rounds of play, with a score of 194, at the state championship, this tie sent them to a playoff where Peterson earned the championship.

Teammate Avery Marchant also finished in the top 10, taking seventh place with an overall score of 224 for the weekend. The Sundance girls team finished second as a team, by one stroke, with a combined score of 654.

Peterson, Marchant, Karen Ulmer, Kiley Sheubrooks and Shyla Shoun all contributed to the second-place team finish. 

The Sundance boys' team also fared well, taking a fourth-place finish at the state tournament with a combined score of 820. Sophomore Owen Watt took a top ten finish, coming in tenth place with an overall score of 191 while Porter Watt was close behind, finishing in 12th place with a score of 195. Spencer Lubken, Braydon Sanders and Haldon Harmon also contributed scores for the tournament.
