Golf team headed to State

The fall season for golf is nearing an end as the Sundance golf team participated in the Tiger Invitational at Lusk this past weekend. Setting the pace for the Bulldog golfers were Owen Watt and Spencer Lubken who tied for 6th place with a score of 96.

Teammate Parker Speidel followed closely with a score of 99. This trio of golfers has put up impressive scores throughout the season and are looking to fare well as they compete in the State Championships on Friday and Saturday in Wright.

On the girls' side of competition, Sheridan Schubarth once again was the top Bulldog finisher, putting up a score of 98. Teammate Savanah Peterson shot a 107, which was good enough for a 6th place finish in the Invitational.

Avery Marchant and Karen Ulmer helped to round out the team score of 355 giving the Lady Bulldogs a second-place finish for the Invite.

The Bulldog golfers will compete in the State Championship at Wright on Friday and Saturday this week.
