Two Sundance wrestlers place at State tourney

The Sundance Bulldog wrestling team finished its 2021-22 season this past weekend in Casper at the State Tournament. The Bulldog wrestlers captured two medals as Dawson Flahaven (285 lbs.) finished in fifth place and Andrew Davis (132 lbs.) finished in sixth place. Going into the tournament, Dawson was seeded seventh and bested his position by two and Andrew came into the tournament unseeded and was able to crack the top six by upsetting two seeded wrestlers.

120 lbs. Karter Mayberry 2-2

126 lbs. Jayden Keller 0-2

132 lbs. Andrew Davis 2-3 6th, Place

182 lbs. Leo Lyons 1-2

195 lbs. Gavin Mollenbrink 1-2

285 lbs. Dawson Flahaven 4-2, 5th Place

It was a very exciting season filled with some awesome highlights and hopefully it will carry over to next year. Coach Carsrud and myself want to thank all the parents and fans for their support of these hard-working young men.
