    The Bulldog Cross Country team found success in its second meet of the season, the Northern Hills Invite in Spearfish, SD Fri., Sept. 2. Five Bulldog runners competed in the 5000-meter junior varsity division and finished third as a team. Sophomore Angel Villegas finished in a state-qualifying time of 20:19.25, placing eighth.     The Sundance golfers participated in the Moorcroft Invite at Keyhole this past week. The Sundance girls took a second-place finish as a team, with Sheridan Schubarth leading the way with a score of 87, followed by teammate Savanah Peterson, who shot 99 on the day. Avery Marchant and Karen Ulmer rounded out the team, shooting 128 and 133 respectively.     The Sundance volleyball team went up against bigger schools, which meant tougher competition, this weekend as they participated in the Gillette Invite on Friday and Saturday. Opening play against the number two ranked 4A team, Thunder Basin, the Lady Bulldogs held their own with a score of 20-25 in game one but lost a little momentum going into game two as they fell 10-25 in their first matchup of the weekend.
