    The Bearlodge FFA partnered with the Crook County Farm Bureau to put on a speaking contest on Feb. 21. This allowed speakers from Sundance and Moorcroft to compete in the creed, prepared and extemporaneous speaking. Kimberly Robinson won the eighth-grade creed contest, Madeline Fleenor won the freshman creed contest and Jaylin Mills placed second, Cana Ruonavaara won the prepared speaking contest and Lindsey Fosheim won the extemporaneous, with Curtis Hanslik being granted second.     The FFA horse team made our way over to the Black Hills Stock Show to take a look at the ranch riding and reigning contestants competing. We watched a few classes to practice our judging skills and brush up on using a scorecard. We also met with Jeremy Knoles, Justin Johnson and Trisha Price. All three of these individuals are very well known in the equine industry, and Jeremy and Johnson are both certified AQHA judges.     FFA horse evaluation team takes on the NILE On Oct. 16 and 17, the Sundance/Bearlodge FFA horse evaluation team traveled to Billings, Montana to partake in the NILE livestock show FFA/4 H judging contests. Autumn Groth placed fourth in the senior division in horse and Tessa Sanderson was high individual in the junior division.
