Bulldogs runners fifth at state

The Sundance Bulldog Boys' Cross Country team ended their season with a fifth place team finish at the 2A Wyoming State Cross Country Championships on Saturday, Oct. 21 in Cheyenne. 

The Bulldogs competed against 85 competitors and 12 full teams in the 2A, 5000-meter race. 

The Bulldogs had two runners finish in the top 20. Senior Deklan Gill placed 13th in a time of 19:25.1. Junior Angel Villegas ran in a time of 19:43.1 earning a 17th-place finish. 

Juniors Parker Skeens, Kyten Johnson, and Holden Ayer placed 30th, 33rd and 40th. Skeens ran in a time of 20:22.4, while Johnson and Ayer...
