Five qualify for state wrestling

The Sundance Bulldogs Boys wrestling team qualified four of its five-man squad for the state meet this week with two wrestlers placing at the ten-team regional meet. The placers were Jacob Comer, second at 220 lbs., and Jayden Keller, fourth at 126 lbs.

Others wrestling include 106 lb. Zac Duvall, 120 lb. Karter Mayberry and 170 lb. Gavin Mollenbrink. Injuries kept four others from attending.

First round for the boys’ State meet in Casper will be Friday morning 9 a.m.

Savannah Peterson will represent the Bulldog Girls wrestling team at 170 lbs. in the first ever girls’ state tournament. The first round will start Thursday morning at 9 a.m.
