PROCEEDINGS OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS AT THE COURTHOUSE IN SUNDANCE, CROOK COUNTY, WYOMING

10:00 o’clock a.m. Present for the special meeting were Chairman Kelly B. Dennis, Vice-Chairwoman Jeanne A. Whalen, Member Fred M. Devish and County Clerk Linda Fritz. Also present were Roger Connett, Jeff Hodge, Tina Wood, Theresa Curren, Larry Schommer, Sarah Pridgeon, Sheryl Klocker and via conference call were Tom Overstreet, Jon Igelhart and Soni Lampert (Pro River Technology).

County Attorney Joe Baron explained the process that the Board can follow should they choose to petition the Governor to commence and prosecute an action in the district court of Crook County asking for the removal of the Crook County Treasurer for misconduct and malfeasance in office. Discussion was held. Jeanne moved to sign a Verified Complaint of the Board of County Commissioners in and for Crook County, Wyoming requesting the Governor take action. Fred seconded, all ayes, motion carried.

Jeanne moved to go into executive session per W.S. 16-4-405(a)(xii) at 10:20 a.m. Fred seconded, all ayes, motion carried.

Back into regular session at 10:49 a.m.

The meeting adjourned at 11:04 o’clock a.m. to meet in regular session on August 2 & 3, 2021 at 8:30 o’clock a.m., in the Commissioner Room at the Courthouse in Sundance, Wyoming.
