Our Thanks

The Proctor Family wants the community of Sundance and Crook County to know what a wonderful, caring and compassionate staff we have at Crook County Medical Services. The care that our Father Dickie Proctor received at the hospital and the long-term care center the last six months was a blessing. We so appreciate the warmth and gentleness extended to him especially thanking Wes, Kris, Lanie, Marlene, Connie, Kathy, Pena, Theo, Kim and Erica. We are grateful for Dr. Larsen and Dr. Waddell. A shout out to Ms. Fran for all her help. Thank you to all of the staff who helped and cared for our Father. We are fortunate to have such fine medical services in our corner of Northeast Wyoming.

Debbie, Rick, Randy, Kelly and Kyle

Our Thanks

The family of Vernon Montgomery would like to thank everyone for their kindness and support following his passing. We greatly appreciate the words of encouragement, prayers, offers to help, food, comforting hugs, calls, cards, memorial donations and visits during this difficult time. Words cannot express how grateful we are for the compassion extended to us as we mourn the loss of our husband/father/papa/friend. Your support, shared memories and fun stories will be remembered and are a great comfort to us.

A special thank you to Dr. Waddell for his home visit, the care and compassion he showed Vernon and our family, and to the staff of the Sundance Clinic, Lab and Radiology Dept. for their kind, gentle, efficient testing and treatment. We are so very blessed to have such a wonderful medical team in our small community.

Blessings,

Arna, Pat, Trista, Kari, Tristan, grandkids and sister Vina

We also appreciate all the helpers that have come along side this program. Thank you to our helpers: Christie Marchant, Lynelle Follum, Vicki Ferderer, Phyllis Ramsey, Michelle McDonald, Annika Haugen, Jaylin Mills, Jake Schommer, Vicki Schommer, Wyatt Flahaven, Blakely Gill, Ilene Hooper, Bonnie Beaudoin, Jan Bush and Patti Paschall.

We want to also recognize Jamie Jensen and Carole Maddox for putting together snacks every Monday and helping with the meal for our picnic. Thank you also to the Sundance Methodist women for making salads for the picnic and Gerri Moore and her class for making 16 dozen cookies for the picnic, they were delicious! Thank you to Mark Broderson, Brian Hartwig, Deb Davis and Don Buckman for always being so willing to support a positive program in our community.

We especially want to thank the Sundance Methodist Church for graciously supporting this program and allowing us the privilege of the building and its resources. We cannot thank Pastor Mike and Patti enough for their continued support of these young kids in our community.

A sincere thank you to the parents of our students, we have such appreciation for you allowing us to be part of these young kids lives!

May we all remember the words of a recent country song Be the Light:

In a place that needs change, make a difference

In a time full of noise, just listen

‘Cause life is but a breeze, better live it

In a place that needs a change, make a difference.

Thank you again to all those that are involved with this program. It exists because many individuals are working together for the good of making a difference in the lives of others! Be the Light!

With sincere appreciation,

Monday VBS Staff
