Lady Bulldogs on a roll

The Sundance Lady Bulldogs continued their dominance on the court as they took on Wright this past week and were able to walk away with a 3-0 victory.

“We are working hard to reach our full potential,” commented Coach Blasczyk. This weekend was no exception as Sherry Negaard and Ty Holloman dominated the net throwing down 12 kills each for the night.

Twelve was the lucky number on the defensive end as well with Bulldog senior Aftyn Marchant coming up with 12 digs for the night, helping the Bulldogs add to their 25-16, 25-22 and 25-19 victories over the Wright Panthers.

“We’ve made it a month and are so happy to still be in the gym,” Coach Blasczyk mentioned. “Staying mentally focused through the entire set and implementing the details we are stressing in practice are some of the things we are trying very hard to bring to games.”

With an 8-1 overall record, the Lady Bulldogs are doing just that.

The Sundance Lady Bulldogs will return to their home court this week as they host the Hulett Red Devils on Thursday and the Tongue River Eagles on Saturday. Games on Thursday will start with the JV at 5 p.m. with varsity to follow at 6 p.m. Play against the Eagles, on Saturday, will begin with the JV teams at 1 and 2 p.m. followed by varsity at 3 p.m.
