The Sundance track and field team competed in the state meet this past weekend. "Despite the cold and blustery weather, each of the athletes set a personal record in at least one event," Bulldog coach Julie Cross stated, "we run better in the cold and snow so state was good for us."

In addition to a strong state track finish, SHS's Hunter Skeens finished his season with an All-State Track selection for his distance running performance this year.

Hunter Skeens walked away with a second place finish in the 3200 meters with a time of 10:49.77 for the Bulldog boys while Joleen Pollat was the top finisher for the girls, finishing fourth in the shot put with a distance of 35-08.50.
