  • Minnesota man charged with possession

    A Minnesota man has been charged with possession after both methamphetamine and marijuana were found on his person and in his vehicle during a traffic stop. On October 4, a Wyoming Highway Patrol trooper was patrolling U.S. Hwy 212 near milepost 16 when he saw a vehicle traveling east at a high rate of speed. Traffic radar recorded the speed at 85 mph in a 70 mph zone. The trooper reports that he turned his car around and observed the suspect vehicle pull over to the shoulder of the road even before he activated his emergency lights. The...

    A crash on U.S. Highway 14 claimed the life of an Idaho man last week. According to reports from Wyoming Highway Patrol, driver fatigue and speed are believed to have been contributing factors to the accident. The crash occurred on September 20 at milepost 188.5 on U.S. 14 and involved a single vehicle. Road conditions were dry and clear.
