Chris R. Ringer takes the pledge of office with Mayor Paul Brooks as the Sundance City Council officially appoints him the new municipal judge. The council has been seeking a new judge for a while to help with enforcement of ordinances within city limits. Within an hour of his appointment, as if to prove the need for this position to be filled, Ringer was tasked with assisting in finalizing agreements for a city pound with Crook County Veterinary Service and creating an updated ordinance for RVs in city limits.
