The Sundance Bulldogs Cross Country team competed in the Mile High Preview Meet in Lead, SD on Aug. 29. With a preview meet, runners competed in shorter distances, yet competed with top athletes in the area. Five Bulldogs competed in the men’s 4000-meter varsity race. Junior Angel Villegas finished in 12th place with a time of 15:42.63. The Sundance Lady Bulldogs were playing with the big dogs this past weekend as they traveled to Gilette to participate in the Gillette Invite. Teams from the surrounding area, from all classes, were there to compete in this two-day tournament. Day one the Lady Bulldogs faced teams from 4A, 3A and out of state.
