    Dewey Schoenewald has been arrested on burglary charges after his vehicle was found stuck in snow at a private property where several buildings had been broken into. On January 19, a Crook County Sheriff’s Office sergeant was dispatched to a property in Moorcroft that he describes as sitting on a private road with no fewer than five “No Trespassing” signs in plain view.     A Belle Fourche woman has been given a suspended sentence and fines of $1050 after pleading guilty to charges of smuggling a controlled substance into a jail and driving under the influence. Sandra Vinson was arrested on June 30, 2019, after her vehicle was spotted in apparent distress on the interstate.     Moorcroft resident Charles Clarence Birr has been arrested on possession charges after a search of his residence for an associated case revealed numerous items related to meth use. On January 21, a Crook County Sheriff’s Office deputy was conducting a search warrant of the Birr residence in Moorcroft associated with a related case involving burglary.     The Sundance boys hosted the Moorcroft Wolves in the first conference meeting of the season. Sundance jumped out to a quick start putting full court pressure on the Wolves and feeding off the energy it created.     On this past Friday and Saturday, the injury-depleted Sundance Bulldog wrestling team competed in the 20-team Belle Fourche Invitational. The Bulldogs were only able to bring four healthy bodies to the event in Belle Fourche, SD. Leading the way was Owen Haiar at 120 lbs. The Junior finished 4-1 on the day for a second-place finish in the 20-man bracket. Three other wrestlers competed but were unable to win a match.
