Sharon Lynn Hacker

Sharon Lynn Hacker, 85, of Moorcroft, Wyoming, passed away at the Crook County Memorial Hospital in Sundance, Wyoming.

Sharon Lynn Hacker was a caring wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend. She left this world on March 23, 2024, after a brief illness.

Sharon was born to Keith and Ruth Likens on August 11, 1938. She was the oldest of four siblings- Sharon, Phil, Jack and Mary (Susie).

Sharon married her husband James in 1970. They spent years in Indiana, Minnesota and Nebraska before settling in Moorcroft.

Together they raised four children: Mark (Carol) Land of Pine, Colorado, Michael Land (deceased), Todd (Liane) Land of Lawton, Oklahoma, Lori (Justen) Robinson of Moorcroft. Her grandchildren included Kelsey Michael, Keith Land, Whitney Land, Cole (Devin) Robinson, Callie (Mathew) Illies.

Six great grandchildren, Riley Michael, Preston Land, Charli Conner, Rhen and Rio Robinson, Kayzlee Illies, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Sharon was a great seamstress for most of her life, from making clothes for her children to making "rodeo" shirts for her grandkids and later making quilts for everyone she loved. She was a member of the Busy Bobbin Quilt Guild for many years.

She loved a good game of cards, enjoyed watching her grandkids at the rodeos and sporting events and thoroughly enjoyed cooking for her friends and family.

Sharon is preceded in death by her parents Keith and Ruth Likens, her son Michael Ray Land, and her brother Phil Likens.

A memorial service was held Wednesday, March 27, 2024, at First Presbyterian Church in Moorcroft.
