Wyoming crude oil will hereafter be pumped through a giant pipeline from the state to the Mississippi valley. The great pipeline of the Sinclair company is now completed and tested from Teapot Dome to Freeman, Mo., a distance of 714.52 miles. Within the next few days oil will start circulating thru this great artery, according to present intentions of the company.

The condition of Emil Reuter, aged prospector in the Bear Lodge, excited some apprehension last week when Bert Hutchins came down from the Peaks and reported that the old gentleman had not been at the Bock place for some time, and the chickens were all dead. Mr. Reuter had been engaged to care for the Bock place this winter. Sheriff Zimmerschied, Deputy Haselton and Mr. Hutchins made an investigation Friday and found Mr. Reuter enjoying life at his own cabin, two miles from Bock's. It seems he had contracted blood poison in his hand and went home for medicine. The storms came on and the old gentleman, who is 92 years of age, was unable to make it back to the Peaks.

A Gillette, Wyo, contractor was awarded four of the schedules of the camp construction project at the Keyhole dam site. It was announced last week by the office of the Bureau of Reclamation in Moorcroft that Max Luton was the successful bidder on four contracts. Three other companies were awarded one contract each on some phase of the camp construction. A total of 12 firms entered bids on the seven schedules for camp work and materials. Work will begin on the project as soon as weather conditions permit construction operations.

Winter storm relief is on its way for the winter-battered cash reserve fund of Crook County. That is what State Senator Charles B. Chittim of Crook County told Crook County delegates to the state grasshopper control conference in Casper March 2. Senator Chittim and the delegates, Edward J. Svoboda, Myron Goodson and Willet Keyser, met informally at the conference. The Senator disclosed that the latest appropriation for emergency relief included a provision making it possible to reimburse the counties of the state 100 percent for emergency relief expenses. The provision will allow Crook County to maintain its $35,000 cash reserve fund and the county will not have to draw on it for emergency relief funds.
