Pesticide program rescheduled for March

The private pesticide program that was postponed earlier this month has now been rescheduled for March.

Micah Most, the University of Wyoming Extension Office’s Agriculture and Natural Resources Educator, will now be hosting a program in Sundance on March 2 from noon to 4 p.m. in the community room of the courthouse.

Programs will also take place at the same times the day before at the Weston County Fairgrounds and on February 29 in Gillette at the Campbell County Extension Office.

To receive your private pesticide applicator license, you must be present for the entire program. You are asked to bring a photo ID and be prepared to take a brief quiz at the end of the program.

If these dates overlap with calving or lambing season and you are unable to attend, Most encourages you to contact the extension office to schedule a time to take the proctored exam.

Contact Most at 307-684-7522 or mmost@uwyoedu with questions about the program.
