Daycare announces grant award

Kid Prints Inc. announced last week that it is thrilled to have received a grant of $10,000 from the Wyoming Community Foundation. It's an award that the daycare has not pursued in recent years, says Executive Director Shari Gose, and has never received in such a high amount.

The grant is earmarked for general operating expenses, says Gose, and as such will be used for needs such as maintaining staff wages, purchasing supplies for the daycare and running the business.

"It's going to good use and is so, so appreciated," says Gose, who also expresses her gratitude for the support of the community through donations and sponsorships.

Kid Prints is a full-service childcare and early educational facility located in the city-owned daycare building on S. 5th Street and overseen by a board of directors.

The Wyoming Community Foundation is an organization overseen by a volunteer board with the goal of supporting the state. It has granted more than $100 million to charitable causes over the last 30 years.
