Shopping big

Sundance's festive shopping opportunity is growing every year, with more shoppers and more shopping opportunities than ever before during this year's event. An estimated 180 people participated in Saturday's Ladies' Night Block Party throughout the downtown area on Saturday evening. With a glass of wine in hand, shoppers were able to visit a total of 13 businesses during the event, with 31 vendors spread out between them offering gifts and treats for the season. "It was a great night and everyone seemed to have a wonderful time," says Jamie Jessen of the Sundance Chamber of Commerce. Ladies' Night was first introduced in 2016 as part of Small Business Saturday, a Shop Small® initiative that aims to spread awareness of why shopping locally is so important to a community. Once again this year, it included a punch card raffle, the results of which will be announced following Friday's parade.
