Pamela Darlene Roemerman

Pamela Darlene Roemerman, born May 6, 1957 to Alice and William Roemerman, joined the Lord on October 7, 2023, ending her battle with cancer.

Pam was born and raised in Rapid City, South Dakota, and attended General Beadle and North Junior High. Pam moved to Sundance, Wyoming, in 1973 and graduated from Sundance High School in 1976.

She then moved back to Rapid City and lived north of the city for several years. Pam moved to town to live with her sister Vivian, until Vivian was put in a nursing home. Pam stayed and continued to live in the home.

Pam was an active member in the Girls Club from 1965 to very late in life. When Pam was in the Girls Club she enjoyed sewing and doing ceramics. After learning ceramics, she did a lot of pieces that she bought at ceramic shops.

Pam worked at K-Mart for 22 years until K-Mart closed. She worked in the health and beauty department and eventually became the supervisor up front.

Pam enjoyed doing jigsaw puzzles, coloring and playing her poker machine. She enjoyed watching MacGyver, Murder She Wrote and cooking shows.

She is survived by her mom, Alice Queen, Rapid City; a sister, Rachel Roemerman, Rapid City; and a brother, Dan Roemerman, North Carolina. She is also survived by aunts, Rose Tax, Rapid City and Kathy Glaze, Florida; nephew, Bill Gilles, Reynoldsburg, Ohio; and niece, Sissy Frizzles (Troy) Olathe, Kansas; along with many cousins.

Pam was preceded in death by her stepfather, Duane Queen; her sisters, Bea Bingham, Liz Levitt and Vivian Gilles; her brothers, Leon and Ragnor Roemerman; her father, William Roemerman; three aunts, Marian Young, Darlene Halbmaier and Zada Dahlberg; cousin, Yogi Young; and sister-in-law, Judy Roemerman; along with several uncles.

Pam's funeral was Saturday, October 14 at Kirk Funeral Home in Rapid City.
