The 20th Annual Devils Tower Car Show was held on Saturday at the KOA Campground at the entrance to Devils Tower.
The show is sponsored each year by the Texas Trail Cruisers Car Club out of Moorcroft, Wyoming.
There were 127 entrants this year, the largest turnout ever, with lots of comments of many very cool vehicles.
The following vehicles received trophies:
1st Place Car: Dave & Bonnie Wackel, 1967 Mercury Cougar GTXR7, Summerset, SD.
2nd Place Car: Robert Walter, 1969 Chevy Camero, Sundance, WY.
1st Place Truck: Tom Hofer, 1956 Ford F100, Hot Springs, SD.
2nd Place Truck: WarrenTerrell, 1936 Dodge Pickup, Torrington, WY.
The Long Distance Award, donated by ATS Drivetrain, went to Tom and Kelly Brooks, with their 1971 Chevelle and their 1970 Triple Black Barracuda from Watford City, ND.
The Matt Driskill Top Gun Award, donated by Ogden and Zannie Driskill, went to Larry McDaniel, 1931 Chevy Special, Hulett. The Wyoming Street Rod Association Award out of Douglas, Wyoming presented their award to Warren Terrell, 1936 Dodge pickup.
Next year the Devils Tower Car Show will be held Saturday, August 17.
