NOTICE OF HEARING TO VACATE A PORTION OF A PUBLIC ROAD
NO. 281, KNOWN AS THE SOUTH MOUNTAIN ROAD
TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN:
The Board of County Commissioners of Crook County, Wyoming has resolved in Resolution No. 2023-12 pursuant to Wyoming Statute 24-3-101 et seq. and W.S. 34-12-106 through 111, to vacate a portion of a public road known as the South Mountain Road No. 281 on the Map of Survey recorded at Instrument No. 518315 located at Rod 22 Map 1220 (formerly File 311 Map 1220) as altered in Resolution No. 2022-11 as shown on the Map of Survey recorded at Instrument No. 676793 Rod 27 Map 1633 located on the following described property, to-wit:
T.51N., R.63W. OF THE 6TH PRINCIPAL MERIDIAN, CROOK COUNTY, WYOMING
SECTION 24: SE1/4SE1/4; SW1/4SE1/4; NW1/4SE1/4
SECTION 25: N1/2NE1/4
Copies of the maps of survey of the proposed vacation, petitions, viewers report, resolution to proceed and this notice are available upon request from the County Clerk and are located in the Office of the Crook County Clerk in the Courthouse in Sundance, Wyoming or at the “Public Notices” tab at http://www.crookcounty.wy.gov
All objections thereto and or claims for damages by reason thereof must be filed in writing with the County Clerk of Crook County at P. O. Box 37 Sundance, WY 82729 on or before noon on July 28, 2023, or the road will be VACATED without reference to such objections or claims for damages on August 1, 2023 at 3:30 P.M.
If there are any objections, this matter shall be set for hearing with notice by first class mail at a later date.
