Colton Daniel Otto

Colton Daniel Otto, 24, of Havre, Montana and Pine Haven, Wyoming passed away on June 17, 2023 in Pine Haven. Colton was born in Havre on January 11, 1999 to Jason and Dyann Otto.

He lived in Rudyard, Montana before moving with his family to Pine Haven. He went to school at North Star Schools in Gildford/Rudyard and Moorcroft High School in Moorcroft, Wyoming.

He attended MSU-Northern in Havre for three semesters studying to be a diesel mechanic. He was very athletic and was involved in football and basketball.

He was talented at playing the drums, guitar, piano, banjo and saxophone. He bowled in youth bowling for several years and shot on trap league in Rudyard.

He was a member of the boy scouts in Montana earning his Eagle Scout. He worked briefly for his great uncle Allan Otto building Walk-n-Rolls (road packers for graders).

He helped Randy Solberg driving trucks during harvest. He worked at Wild Horse Seeds in Havre for four years before coming back to Wyoming to drive log truck for his dad. He was currently employed at Coleman Electric.

Colton loved spending time with all of his friends. He loved riding dirt bikes and motorcycles, snowboarding, playing music, hunting, fishing, camping. He played pool, darts and was an avid golfer.

He was preceded in death by his father, Jason Otto and his uncle, Chris Otto. He is survived by his mother, Dyann; sister, Amanda; grandparents, Jerry and Debbie Otto and Harry and Bobbi Spangler; uncles, Wesley Otto and Brian Spangler and numerous great aunts/uncles and cousins.

A memorial service was held on June 24, 2023.
