Ronald Howard Pulse, Sr.

Ronald Howard Pulse, Sr. of Cheyenne passed away on April 6, 2023 in Casper. He was born on May 29, 1928 in Plevna, Missouri and married Mary Ann (Kramer) Pulse from Ft. Madison, Iowa, on July 23, 1949. They had four children, ten grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren and were together for 70 years.

Ronald loved his family but also took great pleasure in serving and protecting his community. He was in law enforcement for over 45 years, serving as a policeman, highway patrolman, chief of police, undersheriff and two-term sheriff beginning in Laramie, Rock Springs and then Sundance.

He was a 50-year member of Sundance's Masonic Lodge #9 as a master Mason, was elected to receive the 33o of the Scottish Rite and then became a Shriner of the Kalif Temple in Sheridan for their work with sick and disabled children.

He was a Lion's Club board member, and past associate guardian of Job's Daughters. He was an honest, generous, hard-working man.

Ronald is survived by his son, Ronald H Pulse, Jr. and daughters, Paula Sue Pulse, Linda Ann Pulse and Patricia Jo (Henry) Hiddinga, in addition to grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

He was the last surviving member of his immediate family of eight siblings.

A funeral service was held on Monday, April 17 at Schrader, Aragon and Jacoby Funeral Home, Cheyenne.
