New K-9 joins Sheriff's Office

After "Bata" retired last May after seven years of service, Crook County Sheriff's Office is excited to announce one of the newest members of the team. K-9 "Condor" is a year-and-a-half-old Belgian Malinois and is currently certified as a narcotics K-9.

Condor and his partner, Sergeant Dan Bush, recently completed a 200-hour narcotics training with Greg and Callan Brothers, owners of B3-K9 Training and Boarding in Gillette, Wyoming.

Condor will ultimately be certified in tracking, evidence recovery and patrol work after his additional training is completed over the next several months. Condor and his human partner look forward to serving the citizens of Crook Country in years to come.
