Santa arrived on Friday in a dazzle of lights and music. Waving to the crowds during the light parade, he seemed unperturbed by the presence of the green guy - perhaps because he'd already been apprehended by the Crook County Sheriff's Department before he could steal any Christmas. This year's winners were Powder River Energy in the business category, with a lighted tree atop their electric vehicle, and the Bearlodge FFA's horse-drawn carriage. See page 12 for more.
