Chamber launches Christmas Basket program

Help everyone in your community have the merry holiday season they deserve through the annual Sundance Christmas Basket program, an effort through the Sundance Chamber of Commerce to make sure that every family is warm, fed and ready for Santa to arrive.

The chamber is asking the community to consider making a donation to the program, which has been running now for more than a quarter of a century. The funds will be used to provide warm clothing for local kids, as well as food for the family and gifts under the Christmas tree.

Funds will also go towards necessities for seniors within the community.

Financial donations would be greatly appreciated and can be dropped off at Sundance State Bank, made out to “Sundance Community Christmas Baskets”.

If you would like to make a gift donation, after Thanksgiving the boot tree will be located at Sundance Hardware with details of the gifts still needed.

If you would like to be a recipient of this year’s Christmas Baskets, you can get hold of an application form at the Department of Family Services, Sundance High School or Elementary School or Sundance State Bank.

Applications are needed by November 12 to make sure there’s enough time to fill your needs. They will be served on a greatest need basis.
