50 Years Ago, October 12, 1972 - Fritz Chatfield, right, Sundance rancher and former member of the board of the Farmers Ranchers Cooperative, Belle Fourche, receives an award in recognition of outstanding service from A.V. Edsall, board vice president. Chatfield is a past president of the board on which he served for eight years.

100 Years Ago

October 12, 1922

Mr. and Mrs. Mel Dudrey are the parents of a fine boy baby born Monday. This is the first grandchild in the Dudrey family, and the youngster is receiving most unusual attention.

Several small boys of this city were hauled into court last week, charged with entering the shop of the late August Cops. The boys had appropriated quite a bit of plunder, and are in-line for reprimanding.
