October 12, 1922

Mr. and Mrs. Mel Dudrey are the parents of a fine boy baby born Monday. This is the first grandchild in the Dudrey family, and the youngster is receiving most unusual attention.

Several small boys of this city were hauled into court last week, charged with entering the shop of the late August Cops. The boys had appropriated quite a bit of plunder, and are in-line for reprimanding.

October 16, 1947

Drawing for special elk permits for taking elk in Crook County was held Wednesday night of last week at the court house in Sundance with about fifteen prominent citizens assisting with the drawing. Of the 25 special elk permits issued, 18 were absorbed by the landowners and 7 were drawn. Names drawn were C.F. Bond, Moorcroft; Donald L. Butts, Moorcroft; Clifford E. Conley, Newcastle; Frank A. Pearson, Aladdin; John Trotter, Sundance; Earl Simon, Sundance; and Donald E. Guidinger, Sundance.

Harold Cool, Four Corners, Wyo. rancher has purchased the Chittim Motor, Sundance and took possession of the business Monday of this week. Cool said he plans to continue the business in the same manner that Chittim has, handling J.I. Case machinery, parts and service, bottled gas and bottled gas stoves, etc.
