Vacation Bible School starts next week

The United Methodist Church will be presenting its annual Summer Vacation Bible School next week for kids between the ages of three and sixth grade.

The theme this year is: “Monumental: Celebrating God’s Love” and the church promises a fun-filled week learning about Jesus.

The school will run from July 11 to 14 between 9 a.m. and noon. Each day will offer activities including songs, games and crafts, as well as snacks.

On Thursday, July 14 at 5:30 p.m., the school will present a program at Sundance Square. This will include a small performance, signing and then a BBQ dinner for the kids and their families.

Register ahead of time by visiting the Sundance Chamber of Commerce website and navigating to the events page. It will also be possible to register on the first day of school.

Volunteers are also welcome and can contact Gretta Crawford to find out more.
