State Park Backpacks available at the library

Crook County Libraries are joining with the Wyoming State Parks, Historic Sites & Trails to offer the "Check-Out State Parks Library Program." Backpacks can be checked out at any of our Crook County Library locations – Sundance, Moorcroft and Hulett.

Library patrons can check out a backpack and day use State Parks pass for up to two weeks. The pass provides entry into any Wyoming State Park or Historic Site.

Each backpack includes binoculars, magnifying glass, bug jar, compass and field guides to explore Wyoming's wildlife, geology and more. Each backpack also includes a reading list for patrons to further explore nature in literature.

The purpose of this program is to provide youth and families with the opportunity to visit and experience Wyoming's state parks, historic sites and trails.

For more information, please contact your local Crook County library.
