S. M. Leister, a contractor form Newcastle, has been looking over local conditions with regard to the construction of the new Crook County high school building.

Fears of high water in Sundance were experienced a few hours Thursday night when a telephone message was received from E.A. Bock that large cloudburst had struck Warrens Peak at 7 o’ clock. Telephone messages were sent out from the local exchange to all who might be supposed to be in the path of the flood and where telephones failed auto messengers were used.
