Students scoured the streets to collect trash as part of a city-sponsored clean-up day last week.
The students of Sundance High School took part in a clean-up day last week, organized in conjunction with the City of Sundance to make sure the streets are spick and span for summer.
Says Clerk-Treasurer Kathy Lenz, the kids gathered an impressive four pick-up loads of trash in just two hours.
The city offered a prize to the class that picked up the most litter. The juniors enjoyed a pizza party the next day to celebrate their success.
