50 Years Ago - Now in operation in south Sundance is this Sundance Lions Club skating rink, an annual community project of the club. The club has maintained an ice skating rink for several years. The rink this year, is located at the corner of Thompson and South First streets on land owned by Alois Hilstrum, Seattle, Wash., who gave his permission for use of the land. Roberts Construction Co. leveled the site for the rink.

Chester Guidinger, a partner of Edgar Partlow in the Gamble Store here for the past year, last week purchased the interest of Partlow in the business and has assumed private ownership and management of the store. Guidinger said Monday that the store would be completely restocked within the next two weeks.
