New judge appointed on retirement of Perry

Upon the retirement of Judge John R. Perry at the end of the year, Governor Mark Gordon has announced his replacement for District Court Judge of the Sixth Judicial District. James Michael Causey has been appointed to the role.

“Mr. Causey has a depth of legal experience that will serve him well as a judge. His experience with the Board of Parole is particularly valuable. I appreciate that he is willing to continue to serve the public and specifically the people of Campbell, Crook and Weston Counties,” said the governor.
