Fundraiser next week for suicide prevention awareness

To mark this year’s Suicide Prevention Awareness Month, a fundraiser will be taking place in Pine Haven with food, song and a silent auction. Hosted by Crook County Prevention, it will take place at the Ponderosa Café on September 10 from 5 to 9 p.m.
The event will include music from country-influenced band Badger Horse, as well as a BBQ dinner for $10 per plate. This and the silent auction will be raising money for the Wyoming chapter of the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention.
