Chairman, Cody Galloway called to order the regular meeting of the Crook County Land Use Planning & Zoning Commission July 12, 2021, at 7:02 p.m.

Amend and Adopt the Agenda

Chairman, Cody Galloway asked if there were any amendments to the agenda. Terry Wilkerson made a motion adopt the agenda as written; Mary Yemington seconded, all ayes, motion carried.

Approval of the Minutes

Chairman, Cody Galloway asked if there were any additions or corrections to the May meeting minutes; Cody and Mary had a couple typographical corrections. Terry Wilkerson made a motion to approve the minutes as corrected from the regular meeting held May 10, 2021; Mary Yemington seconded, all ayes, motion carried.

New Business

Heritage Properties, LLC Major Subdivision Sketch Plat Review

Chairman, Cody Galloway announced that he was the surveyor for subdivision and asked Mary Yemington to act as Chairman for the sketch plat review. Mary asked Dan Swaney to provide information for the proposed subdivision. Discussion was held concerning the subdivision name, the subdivision road, access, proposed utilities, water and sewer systems. Dustin Buckmiller made a motion to accept the sketch plat and move the proposed subdivision on to the preliminary plat phase; Terry Wilkerson seconded, all ayes, motion carried.

Election of Chairman and Vice-Chairman

Chairman, Cody Galloway took the chair back from Mary Yemington and announced that he no longer wanted to serve as the Chairman of the Commission. Discussion was held and Mary Yemington asked if Morgan Ellsbury could be contacted by phone to ask if he would be willing to serve as the Chairman. Morgan Ellsbury was contacted by phone and asked if he would take the Chairman position if Cody would serve as Vice-Chairman. Morgan said yes, he would serve as Chairman. Cody Galloway called for nominations for Chairman; Mary Yemington nominated Morgan Ellsbury; Dustin Buckmiller seconded; nominations ceased; Morgan Ellsbury was elected as Chairman. Cody Galloway called for nominations for Vice-Chairman; Mary Yemington nominated Cody Gallway; Dustin Buckmiller seconded; nominations ceased; Cody Galloway was elected as Vice-Chairman.

Adjourned

Terry Wilkerson made a motion to adjourn the meeting; Dustin Buckmiller seconded, all ayes, motion carried. The Crook County Land Use Planning & Zoning Commission regular monthly meeting adjourned at 8:53 p.m.
