Gillespie, Kruger hit the field together one last time

Recently graduated Sundance High School seniors, Wyatt Gillespie and Brad Kruger, hit the field one last time in Casper on June 12 for the annual Wyoming Shrine Bowl. Joined by the best players from across the state, the local pair played for the North Team, which jumped out to an early lead in the contest. Their lead lasted until well into the second half, but the South was able to regain their momentum and pulled out the victory when the final horn sounded. It was the first win for a South team in the last nine years.

Gillespie is the son of Clint and Sunny Gillespie, Kruger’s parents are Ed and Anne Kruger.
