Members Present: Chairman, Cody Galloway; Vice-Chairman, Roger Connett; Mary Yemington; Morgan Ellsbury & Terry Wilkerson

Members Absent:

Visitors: Steven Waliezer; Joe Baron, County Attorney

Chairman, Cody Galloway called to order the regular meeting of the Crook County Land Use Planning & Zoning Commission May 10, 2021 at 7:01 p.m.

Amend and Adopt the Agenda

Chairman, Cody Galloway asked if there were any amendments to the agenda. Vice-Chairman, Roger Connett made a motion adopt the agenda as written; Morgan Ellsbury seconded, all ayes, motion carried.

Approval of the Minutes

Chairman, Cody Galloway asked if there were any additions or corrections to the April meeting minutes. Terry Wilkerson made a motion to approve the minutes as written from the regular meeting held April 12, 2021; Vice-Chairman, Roger Connett seconded, all ayes, motion carried.

New Business

Public Hearing – Re-plat Lot 5 of Waliezer No. 2 Minor Subdivision

Chairman, Cody Galloway opened the public hearing for the Re-plat Lot 5 of Waliezer No. 2 Minor Subdivision application at 7:04 p.m. and asked if there were any public comments from anyone attending the meeting. Steven Waliezer provided information about the proposed re-platting of Lot 5. Discussion was held and Mary Yemington made a motion to recommend of approval of the re-plat application to the Board of County Commissioners; Terry Wilkerson seconded, all ayes, motion carried. Chairman, Cody Galloway closed the public hearing for the subdivision application at 7:19 p.m.

Regulation of Large Tract Subdivisions – Continued discussion

Chairman, Cody Galloway opened discussion on the continued review and revisions to the Large Acreage Subdivision Regulation draft document. Joe Baron, Crook County Attorney answered commission members questions concerning the Wyoming Subdivision Exemptions and the Large Acreage Subdivision statutes. Discussion was held and revisions were made. No action taken and the review of the draft regulation will continue at the next meeting.

Adjourned

Morgan Ellsbury made a motion to adjourn the meeting; Vice-Chairman, Roger Connett seconded, all ayes, motion carried. The Crook County Land Use Planning & Zoning Commission regular monthly meeting adjourned at 9:02 p.m.

Monday, June 7, 2021 at 7:00 p.m. in the Crook County Courthouse Jury Room, Sundance, Wyoming.
