First musical in 25 years comes to SHS

Sundance High School was all set to present its first full-scale musical in 25 years just as the pandemic hit last year. Though it’s a little later than originally planned, “Flapper” will finally be coming to a theater very near you this March and the students invite the whole community to come enjoy the caper.

A comedy tribute to the 1920s, Flapper tells the tale of Polly Pepper (Rhianna Heaster), a young flapper who is about to turn 18 and inherit a diamond necklace called the ‘Ice Garden’. Trouble is brewing as mobsters are planning to snatch the necklace at Polly’s birthday...
