Clinic construction ahead of schedule

Construction of the new Hulett Clinic is running ahead of schedule, according to a report from the Crook County Medical Foundation.

At this time, foundation members are meeting with landscapers to finalize decisions regarding the grounds, and are also making choices for interior design.

The foundation’s grant writers are applying for additional grants, according to the report, and some big donations have been received towards the cost of the project. The Hulett Rodeo Royalty are putting on a raffle fundraiser.

The foundation is working with an attorney to figure out how leases will work with the occupants of the building. This is expected to include physical therapy, a pharmacy and, of course, employees from Crook County Medical Services District.

Foundation members also meet regularly with the project director and architects to oversee progress on the clinic.

The grand opening of the building is still set for the second week in June.
