COVID-19 Daily Update - December 28

Wyoming's total lab confirmed cases of COVID-19 have increased by 456 since yesterday and now stand at 37,623. Probable cases have increased by 47 to 6081.

Crook County has had a total of 355 confirmed cases and 28 probables after 1 new probable case was recorded today. Of those cases, 13 confirmed and 4 probable are currently active.

405 people have died as a result of COVID-19 in Wyoming after 32 new deaths were recorded today. Crook County has recorded 6 deaths.

A total of 36,077 confirmed and 5801 probable cases have recovered.

Laramie County reported the highest number of new cases Monday, 73; Sweetwater County saw 66; Natrona County added 41 confirmed cases to its total; Fremont County had 38; Park County recorded 37; Campbell County saw 35; Teton County recorded 27; Sheridan County reported 25; Goshen County had 18 new cases; Washakie County had 16; Albany County reported 14; Big Horn County saw 13; Uinta County added 11 new cases; Carbon and Lincoln counties had 10 new cases; Converse County saw nine; Johnson County added six; Sublette County had four, and Hot Springs, Platte and Weston counties each added one new case.

The Wyoming Health Department said the confirmed case counts declined by five in Washakie County, by three in Carbon County and by one in Goshen County.

The number of active coronavirus cases in Wyoming decreased by 60 from 1481 to 1421.
