COVID-19 Daily Update - December 17

Wyoming's total lab confirmed cases of COVID-19 have increased by 230 since yesterday and now stand at 345,113. Probable cases have increased to 5480.

Crook County has had a total of 335 confirmed cases and 25 probables after 1 new case was recorded today. Of those cases, 19 confirmed and 2 probable are currently active.

351 people have died as a result of COVID-19 in Wyoming after 23 new deaths were recorded today. Crook County has recorded 6 deaths.

A total of 32,977 confirmed and 4976 probable cases have recovered.

The biggest increase in laboratory-confirmed coronavirus cases per county was 76 in Sweetwater County. Natrona County had 31 new cases; Park County had 25; Laramie County had 16; Teton County had 15; Fremont County had 14; both Campbell and UInta counties had 11; Sheridan County had 10; Big Horn County had nine; Johnson and Washakie counties had four new cases each; Lincoln County reported three; Sublette County had two; Carbon, Crook, Hot Springs and Niobrara counties all had just one new case.

Goshen, Platte and Weston counties had no new coronavirus cases.

The Health Department reported a decrease of three cases in Albany County and a decrease of two cases in Converse County.

The number of active coronavirus cases in Wyoming on Wednesday decreased by 235, from yesterday's 2524 to a total of 2289 today.
