COVID-19 Daily Update - October 21

Wyoming's total lab confirmed cases of COVID-19 have increased by 235 since yesterday and now stand at 8305. Probable cases have increased by 87 to 1543.

Crook County has had a total of 80 confirmed cases and 10 probables after 2 new cases were reported today. Of those cases, 30 confirmed and 3 probable are currently active.

61 people have died as a result of COVID-19 in Wyoming.

A total of 6031 confirmed and 1039 probable cases have recovered.

Fremont County's cases increased by 43; Campbell County reported an additional 36 coronavirus cases; Laramie County is up by 32; Natrona County has 26 new cases; Sheridan County experienced an increase of 24 cases; Park County's cases are up by 15; Albany County reported 14 new cases; Sweetwater County has eight new cases; Carbon and Converse counties each have seven more cases; Goshen County has four; Platte, Uinta and Weston counties each report three new cases; Big Horn, Crook, Johnson, Lincoln and Sublette counties have two more cases; Washakie County has one new case, while the Health Department shows a decrease of one coronavirus case in Teton County.

The total number of active coronavirus cases statewide is now 2,717, an increase of 196 over yesterday's 2,521.

Of the statewide metrics used to make decisions regarding the virus, the percentage of all tests with a positive result over the last two weeks was today upgraded to "concerning" (red level). New cases and total reported hospital admissions due to COVID-19 are also marked as "concerning".

The three other metrics are marked as "stable" (amber level): percentage of cases attributed to community spread, total hospital bed availability and total ICU bed availability.
